Yoga and Pilates Fusion

Yoga to increase strength, stamina and stability through Yoga poses and flow sequences. Improve posture and core strength, flexibility and balance. Functional Pilates uses a combination of the classical with contemporary exercises to correct muscular imbalances, improve core abdominal & back strength, flexibility & balance. East meets West with these 2 powerful disciplines to gain a complete body mind workout & change the way you move forever.
The class is suitable for adults of all ages & abilities, is aimed for the healthy client & will include targets for achievable for everyone.
Please remember to bring with you a Pilates/Exercise mat, a drink of water & wear suitable comfortable clothing.
NB This class is booked in blocks, spaces are limited so this reserves your mat space for the block period.
Barre Sculpt & Pilates Fusion
Wednesdays 6 - 7pm

Barre is a Ballet inspired, fabulous body conditioning form of exercise excellent for toning the derrier and legs along with improving posture & core.
Pilates creates length, focus, core control & also improves posture as well as body tone. The fusion of these 2 disciplines is a perfect combo to tone the body in a light dance format where you can have fun!
This class is suitable for all abilities and is designed to be taken at a pace that suits you!
Please remember to bring with you a Pilates/Exercise mat, a drink of water & wear suitable comfortable clothing.
Pure Pilates

Pilates uses the connection of mind, body & breath to perform exercises with centering & alignment with control & concentration bringing about precision & flow.
Joseph Pilates created 34 classical exercises which , if performed well, will enable ease of movement.
This class teaches alignment & develops core strength & control, with a gradual progression through the exercise stages so that each participant can improve at their own pace.
Pilates improves flexibility, strength & movement control whilst addressing postural / muscle imbalances. The connection of mind & body brings about a sense of calm & ability to find length & grace in one's movement patterns.
The class is suitable for adults of all ages & abilities, is aimed for the healthy client & will include targets for achievable for everyone.

Posture Pilates

Beginners Pilates will gently introduce the techniques & skills to begin your Pilates journey. Each exercise will be broken down into stages with gentle progressions built into your program.

Gentle Yoga Flow
Mondays 9 - 10am
@ Cookhill Village Hall
The class will teach foundations of Yoga poses with some light flow sequences featuring transition & pose options that are less taxing on the body compared to stronger traditional set practices.
Yin Stretch poses will be taught with light options and held for longer periods of time with focus on breath control and relaxation. There will be a meditation/relaxation section at the end of the class accompanied by the soothing sounds of the singing bowl to complete the wellness experience. A true chance to nourish the body and relieve the mind!
Gentle Yoga Flow will be holistically taught with an emphasis on connecting with your body and taking your gentle Yoga practice to where it feels right in that moment.
Please bring with you your yoga mat, a drink of water, wear light comfortable clothing.
If you have a yoga bolster or large firm pillow/cushion please do bring this along to help with the Yin stretches.
Chair Fit "n" Fun
Mondays 10.15 - 11am
